Odors due to ethnic cooking can permeate and linger as well as cooking certain types of food or cooking a certain way (i.e. frying). Oils and other substances start as a solid and upon reaching a certain temperature, turn into a gas and the return to a solid form upon cooling.
A quick and easy preventative is to cook these food items outside. Once it permeates interior soft surfaces, it can be a bear to clean thus the result is a lingering odor. Here I am interviewing Chris Zehner, who is an industrial hygienist, about mold.
If you have other issues, please reach out and I would be happy to put you in touch with Chris.
