This review is for my... read more most recent experience, closing date was April 16. After living in Seattle for 30+ years, I was ready to make a big move. I started looking on the far west side of the state, close to the coast, then finally settled on Tacoma. The first set of houses Sandy showed me was about 3 hours outside of Seattle. There was one particular house I had set my sights on, so Sandy and I drove out to the coast. I was convinced that house was going to be *the one*, but when we got there, it was another story entirely. Sandy had actually booked showings for 3 other houses so I could get a feel for the market and inventory in that town. Ultimately, none of those houses were it. Looking through my notes, Sandy showed me almost thirty houses over the course of six weeks or so. The house I eventually purchased was one we almost skipped because I was feeling really frustrated and discouraged by what was available in my price range. We pulled up to the house, and he encouraged me just to go in and look. And of course, that was the house I ended up purchasing. Throughout the process, Sandy was encouraging, helpful, knowledgable and kept me informed. There were some BIG issues with the house that were discovered after the offer was made, and Sandy negotiated with the seller to get almost all of the things on my fix list completed. The inspector that we worked with was also phenomenal - she kept me informed throughout (shout out to Sound Advice Home Inspection). Anyway, I would absolutely recommend Sandy to anyone in the market to buy OR sell. He is super professional and I'm glad that I thought to call him after a disastrous experience with the first realtor I was working with.
